The racing driver from Toftlund secured the title and a third place in the Danish Championship at the Danish Championship Final at FDM Jyllandsringen.
A long debut season in single-seater racing came to an end this weekend, and with motivation at its peak, Casper Nissen fought at the fast end of the field. A poor qualifying meant that he had to work extra hard in the weekend’s three races to get a strong finish to the season.
And work it was. From ninth place, the young South Jutlander drove his way up to fourth place in Saturday’s race, and with two solid second places on Sunday, he secured important points for both the Danish and Nordic championships in Nordic 4.
Casper Nissen can now call himself Rookie Champion in the Danish Nordic 4 Championship, and he also managed to secure third place and thus a bronze medal from the Danish Sports Confederation. A great end to an instructive and challenging debut season:
“I’m really happy to have finished so well. The start of the season was difficult and I had to learn a lot, but in the middle of the season things fell into place and I started to fight at the front of the field. I’ve learnt a lot this year, not least thanks to the talented people at STEP Motorsport, who have worked hard to give me the best conditions throughout the season,” says Casper Nissen, who succeeded with the goal set for the season:
“The goal was to become Rookie Champion, and I succeeded – and then third place in the Danish Championship on top of that. It’s been a great season, and now we need to work on continuing the good development in 2026,” says Casper Nissen.
